Umur

Umur is the story of a young man, Poika, who goes to Lapland as a trainer at the border guard station. On the way, he accidentally meets a girl he can’t get his head around. Poika names the girl Umur. The days at the border station are spent with work, but the thought of a woman and love smolders in Poja’s mind. At night, Umur appears in his dreams. Dreams become reality when Poika and Umur meet. Mutual interest arises, and they start seeing each other. When winter turns to summer, the lovers decide to move in together. Poika and Umur live a moment of happiness In addition to the touching love story of a boy and Umur, the film tells about man’s love for nature. The film paints a sensitive landscape of the soul of a man who is at home in the fells and respects the laws of nature.
