Tapiola Sinfonietta will perform in a concert with the vocal ensemble Tuuletar. Tapiola Sinfonietta and the a cappella vocal ensemble Tuuletar will perform the music of the film “The Story of the Fell” in a concert where the movie will be shown to the audience on a large screen at the same time as its music is played live. The award-winning film composer Panu Aaltio’s film music will be heard in the concert as a premiere performed by a classical orchestra. Aaltio has also composed new material for the concert. Based on Antti Tuuri’s idea of fells as sleeping giants. The film was directed by Marko Röhr.
The concert will take place on Saturday, December 2nd, 2023, at 3:00 PM and 6:00 PM at the Espoo Cultural Center in Tapiola. The film concert is part of Tapiola Sinfonietta’s Nature Festival, which takes place from November 9th to December 2nd, 2023. The festival program includes six nature-themed concerts.
