The film The Story of a Lake takes the viewer to the most unique treasure of Finnish nature, our lakes, lakes and myths. The stories of Finnish culture and ancient religions come to life when the world beneath the surface is opened to viewers for the first time on this scale. In the story of the lake, everything is told through water; the creation of the world as well as the animals, plants and insects that live by and under the water get their explanations. The seasons change with the stories, for more than six thousand years the history of the lakes is told through old Finnish fables, beliefs and religions.
