A Long Hot Summer

Patu is a tough rocker who has to move from Helsinki to Joensuu. Here he gets to know Lajune and local groups. Patu, who thinks that life ends at Kehä Kolmose, is surprised when he hears the tough sound of Lajunen’s band, Publiganes. He plays the experienced taker of Lepako, and starts piloting the band towards fame and money. The band’s new name will be Kalle Päätalo. Although the first gig was a setback, the band never gave up on their dream of playing in the mecca of Finnish rock, Helsinki’s Tavastia.
