Teemu Liakka, the cinematographer of Tale of the Sleeping Giants, has been nominated as a Jussi nominee for best cinematography. The nomination came from a film shot in Lapland and the Arctic Ocean over two years. The Jussi candidates are selected annually by an expert jury consisting of professionals, together with Filmiaura&#8217;s board. The jury included the following professionals in the film industry: producer Kaarle Aho, director Ulla Heikkil\u00e4, screenwriter Jenni Toivoniemi, actors Jaana Saarinen and Amir Escandari, cinematographer Arsen Sarkisiants, editor Samu Heikkil\u00e4, composer Samuli Putro, costume designer Jouni Mervas, set designer Markus Packal\u00e9n, sound designer Mikko M\u00e4kel\u00e4, makeup designer Kata Launonen and film distributor Harry P\u00e4iv\u00e4l\u00e4inen.
